President/CEO
Josh Morton
Josh Morton took over Morton Construction nearly two years ago, continuing the legacy his father started 25 years ago. With a focus on innovation and quality, Josh ensures the company delivers exceptional commercial build-outs that meet today’s evolving needs.
Founder
Ron Morton
As the Founder of Morton Construction, Ron Morton has built a company known for its commitment to quality, integrity, and craftsmanship. With decades of experience in the construction industry, he has led countless projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards. His leadership and vision have shaped Morton Construction into the trusted name it is today.
Outside of work, Ron enjoys sailing, spending time with family and friends, and embracing new adventures.
Secretary/Treasurer
Janie Morton
As Co-Founder, Corporate Secretary, and Treasurer of Morton Construction, Janie Morton manages corporate accounting and administrative operations. With a background in banking, she has played a key role in the company’s financial and business functions.
Beyond work, Janie enjoys fitness, cycling for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, sailing, and reading. Most of all, she values time with family and friends, embracing life to the fullest.
Senior Project Manager
Kevin Kennel
With over 23 years of construction experience, Kevin Kennel has managed projects spanning restaurants, banks, office buildings, warehouses, government facilities, retail, and schools, totaling over 1.5 million square feet. He oversees projects from start to finish, working closely with owners, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure success. A proud father of three, Kevin volunteers with a Youth Football League in Melbourne, FL, and enjoys fishing and cheering on the Gators.
Project Manager
Josh Holzhausen
With 34 years of construction experience, nearly half of that as a superintendent, Joshua has built a career in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, particularly in the large-scale entertainment industry. His expertise spans residential, commercial, and industrial construction, with hands-on knowledge of all phases and trades—from infrastructure to project turnover.
Outside of work, Joshua enjoys traveling and camping with his wife, four children, young granddaughter, and a pack of large-breed dogs that keep him on his toes.

Jason Curtis
Jason Curtis is a detail-oriented, hands-on construction professional with 20 years of experience across medical, hospitality, entertainment, and industrial projects. Originally from Virginia, Jason recently relocated to Florida with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, spending time with his family, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Denver Broncos—when they’re not exploring Disney Parks together.
Superintendent
Chuck Hosier
With over 20 years of construction experience, Chuck Hosier ensures Morton Construction projects are safe, on budget, and on schedule. Known for his positive attitude and dedication, Chuck brings expertise in commercial and industrial construction, as well as ground-up projects and renovations. A proud U.S. Marine, Chuck values family above all and enjoys boating and go-kart racing in his free time.

Erin Seago
With over 19 years of construction industry experience, Erin Seago is dedicated to ensuring Morton Construction’s clients and team receive her full commitment. She supports all phases of projects, from bidding and subcontractor vetting to delivering final close-out packages. Erin’s focus on quality, communication, and collaboration helps build strong client relationships and reinforces Morton Construction’s reputation for excellence.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, watching Sunday football, and cooking southern cuisine.
